I was born in Colombia in 1971; I spent my childhood between Colombia and Venezuela. I studied graphic design in Colombia and I traveled to North America In 2001 to improve my design and photography skills, I lived first in New York City, and later moved to Montreal, Canada. I have exhibited my photographic work in Colombia and Canada. Now I live in Vancouver, British Columbia.

I received my first camera at the age of 11, a Kodak Instamatic 110 that I used for a couple of years. The next camera was a Russian brand called Zenith, it seemed like an army tank, then a Ricoh SUPER KR -5 camera that I still use. In 2001, I bought my first digital camera, a Nikon Coolpix 775. I also had a Powershot Canon Pro 1 and now I work with a Canon 20D. Digital photography’s versatility, speed, and quality has made it one of my preferred working tools for design.
