William A. Franklin's Channel

I've been in public safety for 17 years. This includes several years in the field with emergency medical services; many more with a fire & EMS dispatch, 911, and as a training officer with police communications. Currently I coordinate one of the six regional EMS offices in Alabama.

I'm not a professional writer, although you will catch me frequently documenting procedures and training manuals at the office (*gritting teeth*). I enjoy digital photography on the side, exploring in most things candid - person or nature, landscape, and bokeh (DoF). I take my gear everywhere with me - hiking, overseas, and am working on a collection that will focus on public safety and emergency services.
