Arctic Dancer's Channel

I recently moved back to the farm where I grew up in Southwest Virginia. Yes, the foothills of the Appalachians.I once was and I am again a "farm girl". I moved from Barrow, Alaska (a.k.a. "Top of the World") which is about 4,500 miles away. I lived in the Arctic for 8 years. So, naturally, I love the outdoors and most anything pertaining to outdoor activities.I attended an all-girl school to study ballet, but I'm not exactly your typical girly-girl. I still travel back to the Arctic twice a year to teach dance to my students, but I also enjoy 4-wheeling, snow skiing, water skiing, hiking, camping, photography, skeet shooting, and trying new foods. Due to many years of travel, I love tasting a new wine, listening to cultural music, and collecting exotic treasures!
