I am in my mid-fourties. I find myself mostly interested in World Events, Social Issues, Environmental Issues, and even Political issues, which I find closely relate to all of the above themes, as they do have an effect on our everyday lives in many forms. I have worked in Social Work in the past as well as in Office Administration on and off during the past 13 years. Currently I'm a full-time Caregiver for a disabled family member - while working 2 days per week at a Social Housing Resource office. In my free time (usually in the summer) I enjoy walking, hiking, and taking nature pictures with my digital camera (Canon, Powershot).

During the past year, I've found I've had less time to browse the internet and do other research activities that I really enjoy due to my responsibilities at home; however, I like to go Online about 2-3 times a week, for about 30 - 45 minutes or so, to keep myself abreast of interesting news stories Wordlwide or on the Local scene.

I've found it quite enjoyable to read some of the Blogs/Stories people post and Feedback/Comments from such a diverse and interesting public. This is a wonderful forum for people to exchange views and ideas in a respectful manner.
