About Jared Aicher - Storm Chaser
Greetings and welcome to my bio page on NowPublic. I'm a professional pilot, explorer, and documentary film producer covering the changing climate around the globe as I explore receding glaciers and arctic ice, intensifying weather patterns, thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards, and mankind's influence on the global climate. I am also exploring some of history's most famous lost cities and cultures as I attempt to link their disappearances to climatic change, and their use (and perhaps overuse) of natural resources. I have photographed some of Mother Nature's most violent storms and my work has appeared throughout the major cable networks, and here NowPublic where I am the Climate Change Feature Editor.
I own and operate a dedicated environmental and severe weather media conglomerate that is divided into two companies. New Wind Studios is devoted to capturing and delivering the unforgettable photographs, video, and storylines that often emerge during and after a severe weather event occurs, while Storm Chaser Expeditions offers the most intense and knowledgeable severe weather expeditions and workshops available.
New Wind Studios specializes in capturing environmental and severe weather events as they occur, as both high resolution digital images and HD video. Our mobile office is capable of uploading still and video images within minutes of a severe weather event, while also offering live professional and knowledgeable telephone interviews from the field. Whether it’s a Category 4 hurricane making landfall, a blizzard burying cities in the northeast, or a tornado outbreak in the Midwest, we will be there to record the events, and deliver the images to the world.
Our high quality images and HD video footage is available to media outlets, research departments, educational outlets, marketing departments, and documentary and motion picture corporations. New Wind Studios is also proud to offer you a collection of breathtaking, one-of-a-kind art pieces for your home or office. Simply browse our on-line gallery located at www.newwindstudios.com.
Storm Chaser Expeditions specializes in storm chasing expeditions and severe weather workshops that are geared towards media personnel, severe weather enthusiasts, photographers, and anyone else interested in learning how, and why severe weather occurs. We offer several storm chasing expeditions each spring into the heart of Tornado Alley, where you, along with our severe weather expert, will forecast and intercept some of Mother Nature’s most violent storms.
