NPR Marketplace To Tackle Open Source Science

If there's going to be a "Science 2.0" you need raw data to be openly available, not restricted to expensive journals.  Janet Babin is interviewing scientists for her Marketplace series and it is discussed here.

The American Chemical Society is the only one of these that I think is certifiably insane in their open source policies. They don't even want anyone to use a blurb and a link.
