A New Minnesota Law With The American Flag
A move is under way in state governments across the country to ensure that all flags in the US are made in the United States.
A new law that starts at the end of this year in Minnesota requires every flag sold in the state to be domestically produced.
Violations of this law could give you a $1,000 dollar fine or put you in jail.
The US Census Bureau estimates more than five million dollars worth of U.S. flags were imported from other countries last year.
So much for free trade and capitalism... at least where flags are concerned.
