One Night Only: The Golden Globes Review

Alright, so here's the official take on the situation from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, and then here is mine. 24 was great last night (whatever I got to watch of it) but I was flipping back and forth, and so were a lot of people. The GG's beat out Jack Bauer and 24 in ratings by a bunch of numbers. The Brits totally rocked and swept the awards: Sasha Baron Cohen and Helen Mirren were just a some of my favourites winning a statue. I am delighted that Ugly Betty won a nod. Check out executive producer Salma Hayek and her best friend Penelope Cruz on the red carpet, courtesy of the Bastardly. America Ferrerra and Vanessa Williams looked amazing. Brangelina were hotness and TMZ has a great video of Ryan Seacrest mumbling something ridiculous pre-event on the red carpet, and Angelina looking very confused. Jennifer Hudson also looked nice and she is probably getting an Oscar after her big win last night. See the full menu of winners here. As for the most exciting speeches, Sasha Baron Coehen was a blast. No wonder he won a GG. Watch the video...it's so funny.
