You can explore nearly 160 of London’s secret gardens and squares during Open
Garden Squares Weekend on 9th and 10th June.

You will be able to discover many of London’s garden treasures, ranging from
stately set-pieces and formal landscapes through to some of London’s more
eccentric and unusual open spaces.

Fitzroy Square was built between 1790 -1840 on Charles Fitzroy's 'Home
Field' site. The re-design of the garden was by John
Brooks and the pedestrianisation scheme was by Sir
Geoffrey Jellicoe
 
Open Squares weekend is a chance for the public to view the impressive
garden squares in London. Normally kept locked to the public.
