Pat Robertson being himself

Many who know me have thought of me as a Conservative Christian, but really I am much more moderate. Call it my "dark night of the soul" or just changing with maturity. But as I see it Conservative Christians have almost no choice for President. You might wonder why, ok, I will tell you.

Romney is a Mormon. In conservative christian churches it is considered a cult because of Joseph Smith. I would say why, but I think the FBI has gotten enough death threats on me.

Guliani is an adulter, believes in abortion, you get the picture. Two major "non no's"

Gingrich makes Guliani look good when it comes to adultery.

Huckabee. Well, it comes down to your view of women. If you believe that a woman is to be subserviant than this is your guy. He refuses to answer certain questions, but little things keep coming out.

Alan Keys, Not a bad guy, but really too convervative for most. And, he really has not got a prayer.

I am not judging the behavior of these men, but pointing out that conservative christians would have to make a deal with a devil in order to vote for any of them. If abortion is the hot blood issue then the choice gets narrower. But, if you believe that mormonism is a cult, then there is no way they would vote for him. In all, Huckabee stands the best chance because the old timers conservative christians, and religious organizations will love his views on women.

I have no issue since this conservative is voting for Clinton.

delzakiya, thanks for posting this...pretty straightforward op-ed analysis. What about Fred Thompson? Where does he fall?
