Don’t Tase me, Hillary!

Barack is in Hillary’s crosshairs. But she’s not going to fire. Nope, she says she has the firepower to destroy him but has decided against it.

Barack Obama is freaking out about this. He has even issued a statement saying that this is just Hillary Clinton going into the mud.

But what is really going on? Clinton denies any knowledge about the
“damaging” information and has refused to acknowledge that her campaign
staffers are spreading the rumor. Of course she is.

My gut feeling is that this rumor does come from the Clinton camp.
Obama is not really well-known to anyone outside of DC and Illinois and
is susceptible to a baseless accusation. Hillary’s camp is relying on
the fact that she now has some body armor built up after she was
“ganged up on” by the “boys” in the debate two weeks ago and has some
kind of immunity from getting damaged by engaging in the “politics of
personal destruction.”

Furthermore, making a claim to have something up her pantsuit’s
sleeve without ever revealing what it is lets the voter’s imagination
run wild. It could be anything! The first comment on Robert Novak’s piece
exposing this rumor campaign is from a guy intimating that the
“devastating information” may actually be the mythological video of
Obama snorting coke during the 90s.

An unnamed accusation also makes it kind of hard to defend against.
What’s Barack suppose to do? “No I didn’t snort coke, no I didn’t steal
candy from a baby, no…” There is no way for him to defend against this
kind of attack because there’s nothing to defend against. His proper
response would have been no response because then it would have come
back to hurt Hillary. Now he’s made himself look like the political
neophyte that he is in this presidential election.

And Hillary is doing everything she can to ingrain this image into
the minds of the voters. After Barack came out attacking Hillary for
this innuendo against him she rightly came out claiming there was no
proof that she was behind this phantom, republican operative (Novak is
that operative) smear. Now she has completely insulated herself from
this.

Either there is something horrible in Barack’s past that would nuke
his political future (maybe he used insider trading to make a 1,000%
profit on pork bellies?) or this is a completely fabricated scandal
that Hillary had nothing to do with and Barack is overreacting like the
little kid that he is (according to Hillary and Co.). Either way this
cookie crumbles it is going to end with Obama being politically hobbled
and Hillary looking like a million bucks (the dollar has significantly
lost value, otherwise it would be $100). BigT
