SFU commuting dangerous?

Are the roads to and from SFU Surrey dangerous? I believe so. The roads to and from SFU Surrey and Richmond is devastating, and worsens as the day passes. The constant construction on the Alex Fraser Bridge has caused many cars to constantly break right before the elevated points.  This causes cars to have to suddenly break because the car in front of them and it damages the breaks and possibly the body with the whiplash of the seatbelt.  Personally, I think this is a detriment to the car and to the driver. It will cause the tires to become worn down, and ultimately might cause accidents at other parts of the road.  When the driver thinks that the horror is over  there are multiple potholes throughout the street, and sometimes on both lanes.  There is one (I am willing to bet) is at least an inch into the ground, and every car that goes by, dips and rises. This is a true test for the suspensions, but not a test I’m willing to take, as it may damage my car. So, for the safety of the student's sake, the Lower Mainland should try to solve these safety issues as soon as possible, making it easier, and safer, to get to school.
