Orang utan Nyaru Menteng

This is what you can witness at the reintroductioncentre Nyaru Menteng near Palangkaraya in Central Kalimantan, Borneo.The younger ones play all day in the forest to prepare them for a free live ! The older ones (to strong) and the rescued wild ones are waiting and hoping in the cages for the availability of a save release site !The centre is almost full with near to 500 ! orang utans. Now there is hope for 3 new release sites in the north of Central Kalimantan. Let's hope it will be available very soon. These magnificent creatures deserve to live free without any human interference.
