This is a photograph of a piece in my collection which is actually the prototype of a much larger work by my friend and artist, Steve Jones. Entitled "Our Home and Native Land", it expresses to me Canada's tragedy at the sacrifice of First Nations' Culture on the foundations of an alien religion via the Residential School system and other misguided policies. I feel it is a very powerful piece and that I am privileged to own it. Christopher
