German police detained 122 England fans in Stuttgart for mostly drunken and aggressive behaviour ahead of Sunday's second-round World Cup match against Ecuador. "By midnight there were 200 (fans) singing insulting and racist songs," Stephen Thomas, the head of a British police team working in Germany, told a news conference.

I did not see the English fans in the stasium but I saw them quite
drunk in the Main Square in Stuttgart. They were holding their pints
and celebrating heavily. I would have added pictures if I'd known how
to do so!
