Manny Pacquiao beat Miguel Cotto in the 12th round by technical knockout.  Referee Kenny Bayles stopped the fight 55 seconds into the 12th round.

Pacquiao (pic) made history by becoming the first fighter to win seven titles in seven weight classes.  Cotto came out strong in the first, winning the round 10-9.  But Pacquiaco dominated this match from the second round onwards, knocking Cotto out in the third and fourth round. Cotto's face became bloodier as the fight progressed.

Cotto fought hard to stay in the fight, but was clearly badly beaten by the 12th round.
