My hero does it again, this little fit Filipino guy really puts his heart and soul into boxing. He has become the Filipino national hero and he is one of the nicest guys one could meet, politely spoken.

Filipino star Manny Pacquiao earned a stunning victory over Miguel Cotto stopping his opponent in the 12th round of their WBO welterweight clash.

Pacquiao, 30, dominated throughout and had his Puerto Rican opponent down in the third and fourth rounds with his fierce left hook doing the damage.

More punishment followed for Cotto before referee Kenny Bayless stopped the fight 55 seconds into round 12.

The Filipino's victory saw him win his seventh title in seven weight classes.
