A Texas middle school math teacher hands out a homework assignment to his sixth-grade class to find out the meaning of some text messaging abbreviations. Needless to say, some parents are miffed.

Some of the 20 abbreviations translated to "keeping parents clueless" and"nude in front of the computer."

Alicia Byars, the parent of an 11-year-old student in the class at Jackson Middle School, wants the teacher fired.

"I don't understand. I'm actually in shock," Byars said. "Now I'm faced to the situation 'what does this mean, Mommy?'
