A news presenter who found herself in the spotlight for sending
photos of herself in a bikini to a married sports anchor has been
arrested for punching a police officer in the face.
Emmy Award winner Alycia Lane hit the female officer in Manhattan in the early hours of Sunday morning, said police.However, they gave no information about what led to the incident.
The officer was treated at a hospital for a cut and was released.
The news reader for CBS affiliate WKYW-TV made headlines of her own earlier this year when she emailed pictures of herself posing in a bikini to NFL Network anchorman Rich Eisen.
Unfortunately for her she sent them to an account Eisen shares with his wife and fellow journalist Susy Shuster, who was reported to have been less than pleased.

Probably not the best decision she could have made... wonder if CBS will can her now or keep her around for the notoriety value.
