Holmes Takes New York

When you're a huge star like Katie Holmes, even shopping for toys makes news.



In New York City to promote "Mad Money" on the talk shows, Holmes hit a
toy store Sunday night with hubby Tom Cruise and daughter Suri for a
private shopping spree, according to people.com.



"We were at FAO Schwarz last night ... Running around, eating ice cream
and playing with all of the toys. And Tom and I were playing with a lot
of the toys ourselves. ... You get carried away," she told "Good
Morning America," according to People.



Next stop was "Live With Regis and Kelly," where Holmes talked about
how she'd prepared for her marathon: She worked out 10 hours a week and
blasted Kanye West's "Stronger" for motivation.
