Laser technology is operated by computerized technology to shoot the target when the person to be shot gets in the telecommunication circuit and the laser technology acts to its best when the target is busy talking on his/her mobile the computer can easily check the path which is visualized on lap top or screen of the computer used to target with the laser beam at ease. These technology is with developed nation in the field of nuclear technology, US, Russia, and others etc and cannot be easily available to the killer unless provided.Moot question is that did Benazir fell dead as when she was talking on phone if so then the Laser beam is used in first instance and the wound must have burn of radiation caused by this cause which could have been be easily traced or verified by the Doctors or specialist with only physical observation and other tests.The Laser Killer must be aware of his target mobile number and he also needs a supporter assistant to guide him about the targets physical navigational signs which must telly with his technical navigational datas as it is easy for him to shift from the decoy target to his nearby actual target.

It is an army program to demonstrate the feasibility of a

Islamabad, Jan 2 (PTI) The controversy over former premier Benazir Bhutto's assassination has taken another turn with a section of her Pakistan People's Party (PPP) claiming she was targeted with sophisticated "laser beam technology".Bhutto's wounds were caused not by bullets but by some sort of laser weapon, 'The Nation' newspaper said quoting sources in the PPP.When Bhutto was admitted to Rawalpindi General Hospital shortly after the fatal attack on her on December 27, doctor Musaddiq Khan, who treated her, told a PPP leader that he had seen "such a case for the first time in his life", sources said.Bhutto's wounds were not caused by bullets and she had died before reaching the hospital. A part of her brain and blood had spilled out from her head, they quoted the doctor as saying.The sources also claimed both the gunshots and the bomb blast in the attack on Bhutto "were a decoy to hide the real shooters".

ISLAMABAD- Former prime minister and PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto was targeted with the latest laser beam technology, being used by the American forces in Iraq, PPP sources told TheNation Tuesday.Baitullah Mahsud and Taliban don’t have such technology. After bomb blasts in Karachi on Oct 18, Mahsud sent two messages to Benazir in which he said that they have neither any hostility against her, nor would make any attempt to kill her. “When Benazir was admitted to Rawalpindi General Hospital, Dr M Musaddiq Khan told a PPP leader that he saw such a case for the first time in his life. These wounds were not of bullets, Dr said and added that she had expired before shifting to the hospital and a part of her brain and blood had spilled over from her head,” the sources unveiled.The sources said that both gunshots and bomb blast were a decoy to hide the real shooters. They further said that after the suicide attack, the ambulance also picked up a dead body behind the stage of Liaquat Bagh.The sources said that a meeting of Benazir was scheduled at 9:30 pm with US senators after the Liaquat Bagh rally. In this meeting Benazir was about to expose rigging plans of the govt in the forthcoming elections. The sources said that Benazir normally used two bulletproof vehicles and often changed vehicles during journey if she received important call. When the incident occurred, there was a distance of 20 to 30 metres between these two vehicles. At the time of incident, BB, Amin Fahim, Nahid Khan and Dr Safdar Abbasi were sitting in one bulletproof car while Farhatullah Babar, Dr Babar Awan and Rehman Malik were in the other. The sources also told that two wills of Benazir were presented in party CEC meeting. “These wills were written by BB herself; one was about her party while the other was related to her personal property”. The above twist to the assassination tale has brought the International media attention which needs international probe as requested by Co-chairman of PPP and its Leader Asif Ali Zaradari the husband of Martyrs Benazir Bhutto.

President Musharaf in his speech to the nation has condole the death of Benazir and assured that Scotland Yard will soon be visiting Islamabad to assist Pakistan in its probe into the December 27 assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir and government making efforts to bring peace.The Election will be held on 18 Feb 2008 as announced by ECP.

Lasers beams are nothing more than very focused, coherrent light. They are tactically used to illuminate, or mark a target so laser guided munitions can be accurately delivered to the target. Lasers with enough power to be used as weapons have been shown to be very ineffective due to the enormous amount of power required to operate them. Power supplies to operate industrial cutting lasers are generally the size of small automobiles, weighing a few thousand pounds. As far as the blood and brains comment, surgical lasers are used for their cauterizing effect, restricting blood loss at the incision. Sounds like it is a story from a science fiction novel, mostly fiction, not much science.

ACE exercises, the HEL bomber participated in a variety of simulated missions that included using:

- Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) to attack maritime targets;

- Small Diameter Bomb IIs to attack fixed, high-value land targets;

- Massive Ordnance Penetrators to attack hardened, deeply buried targets such as bunkers and tunnel facilities;

- Miniature Air-Launched Decoys and Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided
Missiles to identify, suppress and/or destroy surface-to-air missile
sites; and

- the HEL bomber to drop special operations forces into combat using a
modified air-launched cruise missile carrying a pressurized,
self-contained pod.

Each HEL bomber mission was supported by one or more military assets
such as the Army's High Mobility Artillery Rocket System; the Navy's
EA-6B ICAP III electronic attack platform; the Navy's E-2D tactical
airborne warning and control system; the Army's E-8C Joint Surveillance
Target Attack Radar System; and the Air Force's RQ-4 Global Hawk aerial
reconnaissance system.

South Korea is developing a mobile truck-mounted
laser weapon capable of destroying North Korean missiles and artillery
shells, a report said Saturday.

A defence ministry research team and defence firms have been involved
in the development of high energy laser weapons, the Chosun Ilbo
newspaper said.

Some info on the high energy laser systems in the link below. Notice the MTHEL is mounted on a base weighing many tons. Without the use of mirrors, the laser fires in an exact straight line. No possibility of this being the cause. A common handgun seems too easy to believe for some reason. Maybe an investigation will bring some answers. Until then we can all continue to speculate.
