Queen Elizabeth II, 81, named fashion icon by Vogue magazine

London (ANTARA News) - Queen Elizabeth II of Britain has been named one of the 50 "most glamorous women" in the world by Vogue magazine, alongside big names in fashion such as Kate Moss and Claudia Schiffer.

In its December issue, British Vogue praises the "rustic style" of the 81-year-old monarch.

"She is as glamorous in brogues and headscarf as she is wearing the crown jewels," the magazine was quoted by DPA as saying.

The queen is joined on the list by Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren, who played her on screen. (*) END
