At least 13 million Indonesian children under five years old were suffering from malnutrition, he said.

The WFP had so far never received contributions for its program and therefore, the UN body might have to postpone or reduce its assistance for poor people in Indonesia, he said.

Luna Maya will assist the WFP in collecting financial assistance from various parties.

"I am delighted to have this opportunity to help Indonesian children through WFP," Luna Maya said.

Meanwhile, Edwin, chief of Saratoga Capital company, said that he was proud to join the Asia Philanthropist Trust.
