Peter Kelton's Channel

Peter Kelton is a free-lance writer who has published millions of words as a news reporter, editor and creative writer. His career spans more than 50 years. In New York he managed a group of foreign correspondents for Capital Cities/ABC Inc.’s Chilton Division. He was news editor of the San Antonio Express-News when Rupert Murdoch owned the paper. His other ventures include writing motion picture scripts for the late Gordon Parks Jr. and serving as senior advisor for corporate public relations when Mobil headquarters was located in New York. His most recent novel Splat! has drawn rave reviews (see Barnes & Nobel.com). His latest editing effort is The Blackberry Willow, a 320,000-word novel by Frank Patrick, a veteran reporter and nominee to the North Carolina Literary Hall of Fame. He divides his time between Mexico City and Albuquerque, is married to the former Sara Michelle Frenkel of Mexico City, and has a 14-year-old daughter, Katherine.
