Pilot Speed at Neumos, Seattle, WA 2/27/2007

Pilot Speed has no business being an opening band. For this show they were opening for Annuals, but the band is polished enough to easily headline shows on their own. The band is _tight_ and the songs are catchy (although at points they sound overly familiar). Huge props to the band's guitar tech for his quick work. What opening band cycles through 5 guitars?!I loved this red guitar too. I'm not a gearhead by any means, but this thing was absolutely gorgeous (the band says it's orange, but whatever, looked red to me).
