Pilots take to sky for championship challenge

High-flying thrill-seekers were taking to the skies above Northamptonshire, England,  today for the first day of The British Aerobatic Championships at Sywell Aerodrome.

The three-day competition will see some of the most skilful and talented pilots from the UK and Europe compete for the title.

The public can watch the action free of charge on all three days 30th August-2nd September 2007, with Sunday also set aside as a reserve day in case of bad weather.
