On Canada's Hudson Bay, early-melting sea ice, due to global warming, has cut down on the time polar bears have to hunt. As a result, bears today weigh less and give birth to fewer cubs than they did just 20 years ago. Polar bears in Alaska, in fact, are Struggling so much that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has proposed to list them on the Endangered Species List.
