The successful campaign by brave Egyptian bloggers backed by awakening free press forced the Egyptian government to arrest one of the torture police officers. The news was published in El-Fagr newspaper on November 27,2006. A call for all victims to come forward to testify and identify the identity of other torture officers so that all torture officers are arrested. A new era of free cyber press is changing the face of press in Egypt and forcing traditional paper press to adopt more fair and independent views to keep its credibility.
