Police identify chemical in Tokyo subway scare

Mainichi Daily News reports that a liquid that was poured on the seat of a Tokyo subway train,
leaving a woman who sat on it with chemical burns and halting train
services, has been identified as an undiluted solution of cresol soap,
police investigators said.
