This is a crazy story. The DugOut posted a story yesterday. And I found these amazing photographs from the after game semi-riot at UCLA. Superskeleton captured four images and described what the scene was like as naked students danced, set fires to various things, and then fled LAPD rubber bullets. Man, it takes me back to Ohio State's campus.

Superskeleton wrote in his description:

Ok, so
here's the story (of my life)...I went to Jordan's place in Westwood to
watch UCLA vs. USC football game. It was an awesome game!! (Sorry, USC
fans.) We drank a little but one of our friends got really drunk and he
went out and started running around the neighborhood. We went chasing
after him but I was seperated and joined this girl, Morgan, and she
took me to a HUGE crowd in the middle of a street (Landfair). There was
this one room on the 2nd floor of a condo on the same street and there
were three semi-naked girls (just top and underwear, one of them was
just wearing a fishnet pantie) dancing to the crowd on top of a table.
(It was awesome.)Anyways, I lost Morgan in the crowd but joined this
amazing couple, Brandy and Fabie (Brandy's a guy). We had to use a
restroom so we managed to get into this same condo and got up on top of
the roof where some people were chilling....And this fire started on
the street, where I was standing just a couple minutes ago. Then, some
guys carried a couch on top of this flame and it just lit up like a
bonfire. Some crazy drunk guys were throwing their shirts into the fire
and were jumping over the flaming couch, and one guy was actually
completely naked, running around this fire! (No, THAT was not awesome.
Haha.)The fire eventually became so big and it shot something out of it
towards the condo that I was standing on. It hit one of the windows.
People backed away but it melted the whole left side of a Scion tC that
was parked next to it. (You can see a guy standing on top of its hood.
That was damaged also.) Some guy also threw a glass bottle at this poor
car.Ok anyway, some people started to poor buckets of water to kill the
fire. When the fire got small enough, the cops came in....Fully armed.
(With helmets and everything.)The police helicopter was flying over us
the whole time, too. Even before the fire began. It was so
crazy.Anyways, the cops came in and they started to SHOOT, what seemed
like bean-bag shotguns. Good thing I was on top of a building!! They
were firing the guns, just like in the movies! It was scary but cool at
the same time. (You can see some cops with helmets on the bottom of the
4th picture with the fire engine. You can see one of them flashing his
light at me.)Long story short: A mob of drunk college students = riot.I
just found this new article about what happened.(My friend that was
running around the neighborhood got stabbed in the back around 1AM. He
was brought back to Jordan's place all bloody. I think the victim of
the stabbing in this news article is talking about him. No worries;
he's okay now and it wasn't toosevere.):www.nctimes.com/articles/2006/12/04/news/state/17_19_5712..."One
shot as crowds celebrate UCLA victory"By: North County Times Wire
Services - WESTWOOD - A person was shot, and a car was set on fire in
Westwood early today as rowdy crowds celebrated the Bruins' 13-9
victory over USC."There's a lot of parties in the area right now, we
just want to make sure it doesn't get out of hand," a desk officer at
the LAPD's West Los Angeles Station said.A shooting near Landfair
Avenue and Ophir Drive about 1 a.m. sent someone to a hospital in a
private vehicle, according to a Los Angeles Fire Department
dispatcher.A car was set on fire off Gayley Avenue, and police got a
report of a stabbing but found no victim, police at the West L.A.
Station said.Los Angeles police set up a command post behind the
Federal Building on Wilshire Boulevard, declared a tactical alert -- it
allows officers to work overtime until their replacements are on duty
-- and had a helicopter crew monitoring the Westwood campus early
today. There was no immediate word on how many arrests were made.Until
yesterday, USC had beaten UCLA for seven years in a row.

When students (some naked) partying in the streets of Frat Row set an old couch on fire, LAPD descended upon them in riot gear, circling the estimated crowd of 1,000. Party goers (many of whom were not students) allegedly threw glass bottles at police vehicles on the scene.

As the police prepared to disperse the crowd, they blocked off the entire length of Landfair St. and denied the media access to what was going to happen next. Officers in riot gear then began to fire rubber bullets at those who failed to immediately leave the premises.
