Police Surround Vancouver Neighborhood

I live on the 25 hundred block of Graveley, and I awoke this morning to an established crime scene on my street. This usually quiet neighborhood was bustling with police activity, including a undercover police van, which was sitting right outside my door. The corner (just a few houses west of my house) of Semlin and Graveley was completely surrounded by the Vancouver police as well as the special undercover task force. At first we assumed it must be relating to a drug or grow-op related operation, but when I walked by the police spokesperson he mentioned that a crime of another nature had been committed. The police would not allow us to walk through our alley and there were police on every corner, securing the scene. A police transport which holds suspects was on the scene, but it was unclear if anyone had been taken into custody.

I will not speculate but I did here (from a police officer on scene) that there was one victim involved from the house on the corner of Graveley and Semlin. And detectives had arrived on the scene shortly after 10:00am. The pictures and video's I have provided are of this morning's events. As well, news crews had arrived, but later than this footage was taken. I will update with further information or please link a reported story if one becomes available.
