The Hamas war  inside the Gaza Strip prove that the Fatah is still alive.

From the “Jerusalem Post”
Hamas carried out ‘heinous crime’ in Gaza (Nov 12, 2007)
..”Hamas’ violent dispersal of a mass Fatah rally in Gaza on Monday was a “heinous crime,” Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s office said.”…”Hamas security forces on Monday opened fire at a mass rally commemorating the death of the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, violently dispersing close to 250,000 people who had gathered in the largest public display of support for the rival Fatah movement since Hamas seized control of the Gaza Strip in June. Six civilians were killed and at least 85 people were wounded, hospitals and witnesses said. Among the critically wounded was a Hamas policeman who was shot in the head”…, see more.

Here are pictures  from the clashes at the commemoration ..(I extracted from the video clip)

korzac, the continued infighting amongst Palestinians does no good for anyone other than those who do not want to see an independent Palestinian state.

Look at the article from Gay Bechor here, his position, on what the Hamas is doeing in the Gaza Strip,  predict what you wrote no  "...independent Palestinian state".

ryan thanks for the flag.

an independent Palestinian state: a myth. Not even Arafat really wanted that.

Rene, perhaps the talks at Annapolis will pave the way for a partial solution.

When the Arabs slaughter each other it is labeled a "Henius Crime." When they murder innocent Israelis they call it "martyrdom" and "legitimte resistance to occupation." What hogwash. This is not the foundation of statecraft by these people, but the creation of another Arabic Muslim terrorist State, that will not come to pass.

"Henius Crime." ,"martyrdom"and "legitimte resistance to occupation." is a semantic brainwashing of the people in the Gaza Strip by Hamas leaders. A majority of the Israeli people would be glad to come to an agremeent with the Palestinian people.
