Army chief promises to improve TNI`s profesionalism

He said the TNI in the future should be solid, strong, modern, and adhere to the concept that it should love and be loved by the people.

"This is to make TNI able to ensure the upholding of the sovereignty and integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) on the basis of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution," Djoko said.

The Army chief also said that to protect the NKRI`s integrity and security, the TNI should be able to prepare and develop its strength with the support of its soldiers` professionalism and adequate national resources.
