Aussies don`t see RI as close security partner : survey

The results of the survey published on Wednesday showed Indonesia ranked above North Korea but below China, the US, Japan and Britain.

Only that the prospect of the two countries` partnership in the field of economy and a majority of respondents viewed Indonesia as the closes trade partners of Australia in the next five up to ten years.

The survey which also involved Prof Murray Goot said that 76 percent of the respondents saw global warming as a problem which was more serious than Islamic fundamentalism.
