Dreaming of Occupation

As I commented this morning,Gazan journalist Taghreed El-Khodary gave a telling interview about daily life in Gaza: the corruption, internal violence, coercion, Islamisation and the violence against Israel and the effects of the inevitable Israeli attempts to stop it. Worth reading in full. The saddest bit, according to El-Khodary, is that instead of leading to a yearning for an independent Palestinian State, the current situation is leading the average Gazan to dream of a return of the Israeli occupation.
