Fidel Castro the lefts favorite “dictator for
life” has done a Putin. He has set precedent for the next hand picked
“dictator for life.” 50 years seems enough,”then the younger generation
will take over.”If only Hugo Chavez was available and not so busy with
his own revolution Fidel could just pass on his legacy to him, someone
he can trust, someone with personality.
Will Cuba find a charismatic leader soon?
Holding on to power in Cuba may not be easy if the next “dictator for
life” has no charisma. Just hating America won’t cut it anymore.
During Fidel’s reign a whole generation of
Cuban families were torn apart many risking everything and thousands
dying trying to escape what to them was hell in paradise. .
So desperate for freedom they would cross 90
miles of shark infested water to get away to just taste freedom,
thousands not making it. How bad must it be that your people would
rather risk being a meal for a shark than spend one more minute on your
prostitute infested Island.
Rumors are that Fidel is being groomed for
cloning. There are many Korean scientists in Cuba doing research in DNA
and biology. Well at least it sounds like a good movie plot..mpress
Ailing leader Fidel Castro said in a letter read on state television Monday that he does not intend to cling to power forever or stand in the way of a younger generation, but invoked the example of a renowned Brazilian architect who is still working at 100.“My elemental duty is not to cling to positions, or even less to obstruct the path of younger people, but to share experiences and ideas whose modest worth comes from the exceptional era in which I lived,” Castro wrote in the final paragraph of a lengthy letter discussing the Bali summit on global warming.
