What took him so long....time to put a bullet in this dead horse.

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani plans to drop out of the presidential race and endorse McCain at an event in California, two GOP sources with direct knowledge of the plans said.

Giuliani was a distant third with the results from Tuesday's voting almost final.

While Giuliani didn't say he was withdrawing from the race, he did speak of his campaign in the past tense at one point.

"I'm proud I ran a positive campaign," he told supporters. "I ran a campaign that was uplifting."

I wonder when Ron Paul and John Edwards will do the same, neither has any chance and if they were smart, they should know it by now.

No 9/11 comments? I'm shocked. No big banner either?

At least I don't mind listening to Edwards and Paul.

I spoke too soon, Edwards has shown the class to go ahead and bow out. That only leaves Ron Paul. I heard Edwards, he was like a broken record. Ron Paul on the other hand is very interesting, but I am not looking at this race as entertainment. I guess being from Canada, this is only entertainment for the folks up north.

Entertaining, yes, but also rather pertinent, as the US foreign policy behemoth drags us all in its wake. Canada, along with the rest of the world, is following this race very closely.

(And hey, it's that or Britney)

Yup, Edwards is out -- now we're all awaiting with bated breath his announcement about who he's backing...

He suspended his campaigning ( he is out) but he did not offically drop out.  I wonder if he is holding on to his delegates for political captial.  I thnk he is looking for a deal.  That is why he didn't throw his support one way or another.  I thought he had already made a deal and would throw his suport one way or another. I was wrong.
