NP Rank:
Fox news excludes Ron Paul from debate
Prison Planet
Texas
Congressman Ron Paul has been banned from attending a presidential
forum just two days before the New Hampshire Primary by Fox News.
The
forum is due to be screened by Fox on January 6th 2008 but it won't
include the Republican fundraising frontrunner and a contender who is
set to garner over 10% of the vote in New Hampshire.
This is
another blatant ploy to sideline Ron Paul and pretend as if he isn't
going to play a crucial role in the campaign when even mainstream news
media are now admitting that to be the case. “Given Ron Paul’s support
in New Hampshire and his recent historic fundraising success, it is
outrageous that Dr. Paul would be excluded,” said Ron Paul 2008
campaign chairman Kent Snyder. “Dr. Paul has consistently polled higher
in New Hampshire than some of the other candidates who have been
invited.”
“Paul supporters should know that we are continuing to
make inquiries with Fox News as to why they have apparently excluded
Dr. Paul from this event," he added.
The fact that Ron Paul
broke all records by raising over $6 million dollars in one day this
month matters little to the Neo-Con hierarchy at Fox News, who have
thrown their weight behind Hillary Clinton's warmongering platform.
The
Texas Congressman's fundraising haul gives him a real chance of picking
up momentum quickly as the early primaries fly by, which is exactly
what the establishment fear and are trying to derail.
Paul has
been excluded from many major online polls in the last few months and
was also initially blocked from attending a Republican presidential
forum in Des Moines Iowa in June.

This is sickening. I was already aware that Fox was scared to death of Paul, but I expected them to continue to distort his words and increase the name calling. I never expected them to exclude him from their debates though especially with the record breaking fundraising and everything else he's achieved in recent months. This is an outrage, I'm just angry beyond words right now.

Fox News isn't Afraid of Dr. Paul. The real story is why are the democrats afraid of Fox News.
When a candidate drops below 5% in the polls he is usually excluded from future debates following the
first caucus or primary. This has already occured in the democratic debates. Dr. Paul , in a recent LA Times /Bloomburg Poll ending Dec 26, 2007, has dropped to 4% in New Hampshire and in national polls he has dropped to 1%. Do you know how many Republicans are running for president? There are more then 20. Alan Keyes was allowed to debate in Iowa because he met the criteria of having an office and worker in Iowa.
I am not a fan of the process. I would like to hear from every candidate running. But how many questions could you get in 90 minutes with 20 candidates? Remember Sen Gravel was eliminated from the debate process already. My sources also report that the Fox Debate in South Carolina Dr. Paul is not the only one who will not be invited.
For the Record, I have interviewed Representative Paul 3 times during the debates and find him to be a very focused
constitutionalist. I have a great deal of respect for Him. In short, Fox News is not afraid of Ron Paul.

Ron Paul's impact has been far greater than half of the plasitc faces taking part in this event and everyone knows it.
"Do you know how many Republicans are running for president? There are more then 20" << Comments and excuses like that are a little more than desperate considering what he has accomplished. I don't even support Ron paul but people know crooks when they see them.
It is not an issue of "is Fox is biased or not". (Your average 9th grader can answer that correctly) It is only realizing how much. If you had any respect for Paul as you claim, you would not make an effort to cover Fox tracks!
