Govt changes name of IPDN into IIP

The IIP will no longer be centralized in Jatinangor, Sumedang, West Java, like the IPDN, but will also be established in other provinces, Home Affairs Minister Mardiyanto told newsmen after a cabinet meeting presided over by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

Mardiyanto said the IIP in Jatinangor and other cities would have the same training standards.

He said regions that also would have an IIP were South Kalimantan (Banjarmasin), West Nusa Tenggara (Mataram) and West Sumatra (Bukittinggi).
