Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Red and White Flag was here Sunday hoisted at half mast at the Presidential Palace to respect late former president Soeharto.
The Indonesian second president died of multiple organ failure at Pertamina Hospital in South Jakarta on Sunday at 1.30 p.m.
Earlier on the day, Cabinet Secretary Sudi Silalahi announced the national mourning days of silence to respect late Soeharto.
Indonesian people were expected to observe seven days of silence starting on Sunday (Jan 27) to respect the late former president. (*) END
