McCain Overcomes Huckabee Lead In the Bible Belt : South Carolina
McCain Takes lead in South Carolina according to Rasmussen
Govenor Mike Huckabee appeard to be in his element during the South Carolina debate in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina this passed Thursday. Huckabee is now in trouble according to the Rasmussen Report which came out with new numbers today. While Huckabee still is ahead in the national polls, his double digit lead has been washed away by Senator McCain coming off a big win in New Hampshire. Many Pundits had Huckabee winning here with little opposition. McCain is in a, "pundit free zone."

It's fascinating how one candidate can be in the lead and then have their fortunes reversed so quickly!

Politics remnd me of going to horse races. The leader early on rarely wins in the end.
