Peruvian prosecutors to demand Fujimori get 30 years in prison

Fujimori`s murder charges concern two massacres of Peruvian citizens allegedly committed by his military forces in 1991 and 1992 during a crackdown on leftist insurgents.

In September, Chilean authorities handed Fujimori over to Peru in connection with seven of the 12 crimes for which the Peruvian government had demanded his extradition.

Fujimori, who led Peru from 1990 to 2000, is accused of five crimes related to the embezzlement of public money.
