Power blackout mars IAPC opening session attended by Yudhoyono

ANTARA reported that moments after the power failure, presidential security guards formed a cordon around the head of state whose position in the room was only illuminated by a small light from his cellphone.

The President who sat next to Bali Governor Dewa Beratha was still in his seat when the lights went up again in thw meeting room of the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Widodo AS also attended the conference which was participated in by delegates from 20 countries.

The blackout happened when Asia Pacific Political Consultants Assocation (APAPC) president Pri Sulisto was delivering a 10-minute speech.
