President Yudhoyono receives EC delegation

After the meeting, a joint statement between Indonesian government and the European Commission would be signed by President Yudhoyono and his EC counterpart Jose Manuel Barosso.

In addition, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on 2007-2010 annual program between Indonesia and EC would also be signed by Indonesian Foreign Minister Hassan Wirayuda and the chief of EC delegation.

The ministers attending the close-door meeting were among others Minister/State Secretary Hatta Radjasa, Coordinating Minister for Economy Boediono, Transportation Minister Jusman Syafii Djamal, and National Education Minister Bambang Sudibyo.

While the members of the EC delegation were among others Fernando Andersen Guimaraes, EU presidential spokesman Leonor Ribeiro da Silva, presidential secretary Luisa Gaiao, and EC director for external relations James Moran.
