RI, Polish parliaments agree to strengthen cooperation

The statement said that during the visit, Agung Laksono met with the leader of the Polish Parliament, Bronislaw Komorowski, and the chairman of the Polish Senate, Bogdan Borusewicz.
The Indonesian parliamentary delegation was also scheduled to meet with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, and business circles who had contacts with Indonesia.
Agung also laid a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier and visited Warsaw`s museum which shows a detailed record of the soldiers who defended Poland against Nazi German invaders.
The Indonesian legislators` delegation was visiting Poland to reciprocate a Polish parliamentary delegation`s visit to Indonesia in 2002.
