The agreement was reached at a meeting between Chief of the Western Indonesian Fleet Command Rear Admiral Agus Suhartono and Chief of the Singapore Fleet Command Rear Admiral Ng Chee Peng here on Tuesday.
"This is a form of cooperation the two navies will continue to intensify in the years to come," Agus Suhartono said.
The meeting was part of a series of activities held on the occasion of joint exercises between the two navies from Jan 16 to 25.
The 10-day joint exercises, codenamed "Sea Eagle 20/08", opened at the RSN`s Naval Base in Changi, Singapore, on Jan 16 and are being conducted in the Singapore Strait, Karimata Strait and Java Sea.
