Roh to discuss peace on Korean Peninsula as top summit agenda item

"I would take how to firmly preserve peace on the Korean Peninsula as the utmost agenda," Roh was quoted by Kyodo as saying in a speech to celebrate the 59th Armed Forces Day.

In the speech at the "Gyeryongdae" military headquarters near the central city Daejeon, Roh said there would be no co-prosperity or unification with the North without peace.
