Is Rudy Traumatized?

Rudy Giuliani finished sixth in the Iowa caucus, behind Ron Paul.

"We were not going to emphasize Iowa in the way that other candidates did," Giuliani said, insisting this was "absolutely no insult to Iowa at all."

Even though he spent more time and money in Iowa than Ron Paul did, the Front Runnerâ„¢ couldn't elicit much enthusiasm--which is probably why he decided not to "emphasize" Iowa.  They don't buy his brand of snake oil there:  the "9/11" brand.

"None of this worries me - Sept. 11, there were times I was worried," Giuliani said.

"We're sitting in a pretty good position right now. So we're not worried and not concerned," he told a news conference here. "Maybe other people acted nervous in a situation like this, but this is not unexpected."

"What, me worry?"
As a GOP operative I know loves to say, the man has "9/11 Tourettes." Can't help himself.

Priceless.  But it raises a serious issue: was Rudy traumatized by the events of September 11, 2001?  He can't seem to let go.  Is he suffering from "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder?" This is a serious question.  He seems fixated on the events of that day to such an extent that we wonder if his judgment is not seriously compromised.

In any case, "9/11" is by far the best reason not to elect Giuliani:  if he gets into office we'll never hear the end of it.
