This is pretty embarassing for the Bush administration.  Former Sec. of Defense "There are known unknowns" and "Stuff happens" D. Rumsfeld is apparently not welcome by Wichita, Kansas conservatives while retired WH Press guy Tony Snow is welcome with open arms.  Only, Tony didn't run the invasion.  He just explained its dismal failures as well, a war.

Rumsfeld speech nixed after ‘too many people objected.’

Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld was supposed to speak to the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce in Kansas on Dec. 4. But today the Wichita Eagle reports that his appearance was quietly canceled last month after “too many people objected.  The Chamber, which is traditionally conservative, is now expecting to
hear from former White House Press Secretary Tony Snow, who recently joined the speaker’s circuit.”
