S`pore denies submitting DCA to parliament for ratification

"It is not true that Singapore has already submitted the Defense Cooperation Agreement (DCA) to Parliament for ratification," the Singapore Embassy said in a press statement.

Singapore and Indonesia had agreed that the DCA and the Extradition Treaty, which had been negotiated and concluded as a package, would only come into force after being ratified together as a package, it said.The embassy was responding to a statement by Indonesian lawmaker Hajriyanto Y Thohari that he believed that the Singaporean Parliament had unilaterally ratified the DCA. more ..
